Responsibilities

NBC Sports Next is looking for bright, motivated sales professionals to join our fast-paced, high growth sales team as a Market Response Representative supporting our youth and recreation platforms, SportsEngine + GoMotion.

As the Market Response Representative, you will be responsible for immediately engaging customers and prospects upon outreach via a live chat, web forms, phone and social media channels, to ensure a positive experience within the SportsEngine Inc. suite of products. You will be responsible for both Sales Development inquiries and Customer Support inquiries, with an emphasis on Sales Development.

You are a self-starter who knows how to deliver results using available internal and customer-facing tools. You are a professional with customer-facing experience and have a proven track record of listening and responding to customers in a timely manner to meet their desired resolution. You have a collaborative work style, an understanding of our customers and their needs, and a desire to create a positive initial outcome.

• Immediately upon receiving a prospect inquiry through live chat, web forms, phone and social media, respond to and qualify for an opportunity to handoff to a Sales Rep.
• Immediately upon receiving a current customer inquiry through live chat, web forms, phone and social media, respond to and triage appropriately based on the customer's desired outcome.
• Adhere to Sales and Customer Success guidelines to provide resolution to our customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide insight to leadership of customer experiences and escalate when necessary, based on the customers' needs.
• Meet performance metrics based on, but not limited to, Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) Conversion, Median First Response Time and Happiness Rating
• Participate in Sales and Customer Support team meetings

Qualifications/Requirements
• Prior experience in a customer service role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task through multiple systems and engagement types
• Demonstrated ability to engage with customers and thrive while being surrounded by a high-energy sales floor.

Desired Characteristics
• Bachelor degree preferred with 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in a SaaS business or technology field
• Experience with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Intercom, or similar customer engagement tools is preferred
• Curiosity and enthusiasm
