Responsibilities
OVERVIEW:
The HR Coordinator will support and assist the HR team across NBC Sports Next client groups. The role is responsible for performing employee administration, operational and systems support to employees and act as a point of contact for many HR related inquiries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage transactions related to HRIS employee lifecycle in HRIS system (Hires, Terminations, LOA, Change in Pay, Promotions, Organizational updates, etc.)
• Provide timely support to all client inquiries, working alongside HR team to ensure all issues are resolved and escalated if/when necessary (i.e. timecard corrections, SAP system questions, leave of absence, status changes, separations, related follow-up paperwork, etc.)
• Respond to routine HR questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, vacation or redirect employees to appropriate contacts
• Assist for creating a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires
• Assist in coordinating, planning and executing employee engagement activities
• Maintain and update all HR email distribution lists
• Maintain employee files
• Work on special assignments and projects
• Handle and coordinate confidential information
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
• BA/BS in Human Resources or related field
• Minimum 1-year administrative experience, preferably supporting HR generalist functions

• Experience with HR information systems, such as SAP
• Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
• Ability and willingness to take on the administrative duties, heavy workflow processing
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize a busy, changing workload
• Flexibility and an ability to work autonomously and in a matrix organization
• Customer and/or employee oriented individual, with strong oral and written communication, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
• A willingness to learn, being solution orientated and curious with an appetite to continually review and improve processes
• An ability to be discreet and professional and maintain confidentiality of information is key
• Ability to cope in a fast, dynamic and ever evolving environment in a calm and professional manner
