Overview

Responsible for coordinating the sales, services and logistics of non-game and pre-game events at American Family Field and surrounding ballpark grounds.

• Coordinate sales for non-game day and pre-game events at American Family Field. Process incoming sales leads and inquiries, provide information and conduct event space showings to prospective customers.
• Responsible for all administrative and financial aspects of events; including preparing event contracts, orders, permits, waivers, billing/invoicing, and payment collection.
• Work with clients to plan and organize event logistics including preparing timelines, set-up and service requirements, equipment needs, audio/visual and technology event packages and staffing.
• Provide clients and guests with exceptional service ensuring Brewers' hospitality standards are upheld, act as point of contact and American Family Field representative for clients and guests during events.
• Coordinate and contract with third party vendors including Catering, Audio/ Visual, Equipment Rentals and Safety/Medical for events.
• Provide event planning support for events hosted by the Club.
• Assist Senior Manager – Premium Hospitality and Events with any large scale, private events including logistical support leading up to event and on-site coordination/ set-up.
• Oversee planning and on-site execution of Brewers events such as the Brewers Baseball Academy and Field of Sweet Dreams.
• Assist with management of season internship program , hiring, scheduling, coordinating duties and establishing work priority.

• Qualified candidates must have strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in special events, customer service, and/or hospitality.
• Knowledge of audio-visual systems, including trouble shooting as well as set-up for basic audio equipment (XLR microphones, etc.) preferred.

Education and/or Experience

Degree from college or technical school; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to learn and work with computer programs that are necessary for processing of event reservations and payments.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Hours

This position is Regular Full-Time (approximately 40 hours/week). Regular Business Office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, although office hours may vary pending scheduled events and/or Brewers' home games. Additional hours are required on early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
