Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (''MGM'') is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst who will be responsible for providing functional, technical, and analytical expertise applicable to the MGM financial systems -- specifically the procure to pay and budget/planning systems. Key systems in this process includes SAP ECC (Materials Management, FI-AP related invoice receipts and payment processes), SAP Vistex add-on (Contracts and Claims management), Oracle Hyperion Essbase, as well as the integrated invoice approval workflow system implemented in the Basware Purchase to Pay SaaS.

The ideal candidate must possess a Media & Entertainment background with strong communication and analytical skills to effectively work with the user community to determine requirements and translate business requirements into technical solutions. In addition, the candidate must excel in a team environment with an interest and dedication to expanding their knowledge base, as well as sharing their knowledge with others. The ability to independently complete individual tasks in a dynamic environment is imperative, as is the ability to coordinate efforts with others toward achieving departmental and company goals.

Responsibilities:
• SAP functional and technical support for the MGM business users including the following areas: Purchasing and Accounts Payable
• Essbase functional and technical support for Corporate Budgeting and Sales Planning
• Work with the MGM user community to identify business issues and define requests
• Maintain a proficiency and comprehension of the business processes from both a technical and functional perspective
• Analysis and configuration of SAP ECC 6 MM and FI-CO modules to fulfill business user or enhancement requests
• Analysis and configuration of SAP ECC 6 MM and FI-CO modules' integration points with 3rd party software, particularly Basware Purchase to Pay SaaS.
• Analysis and configuration of Vistex Contracts and Claims management modules and their integration with core ECC FI-CO modules
• Analysis and configuration of Oracle Essbase for Corporate Budget, TV Finance and Sales Planning, and Ultimates & Amortization tracking
• Analysis and configuration of Basware for organization units, API job monitoring, user and role maintenance
• Assist users with Basware support requests
• Work with other MTG (Media Technology Group) areas to update and configure solutions to meet business needs or streamline processes
• Documentation and communication of business/technical specifications
• Documentation and communication of system modifications
• Creation, coordination, and implementation of test plans of business and functional processes during system development to ensure the quality of the delivered requirements and the overall health of the system
• Assist users during training in the use of supported systems
• Participate in the prioritization of user requests and determination of work estimates
• Participate in periodic system maintenance and monitoring activities

Qualifications:
• 6+ years of business systems analysis experience
• 3+ years of experience in working with or configuration of enterprise level ERP, accounting, and financial reporting systems
• Clear understanding of the underlying data structure and table relationships within the SAP application
• Familiar with Accounting, Accounts Payable principles, practices and procedures
• Strong analytical and system design skills, problem recognition, problem solving and a track record of seeing tasks through to successful completion
• Knowledge of query utilities, general understanding of DBMS, and general SQL concepts
• Advance proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word and Excel a must)
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP
• Familiarity with SAP programming (ABAP) to work with SAP technical team
• Experience with SAP New GL or Simple Finance environments
• Experience with SAP S4 HANA environments
• SAP coursework or certification

Basware
• Experience with Basware Purchase to Pay or AP Automation systems configuration or solution design (organization units, API job monitoring, user and role maintenance)

Essbase
• Experience with Hyperion Planning (Calculation Manager, Web Forms), Hyperion Essbase (ASO/BSO, Calculation Scripts, Load Rules) and FDMEE

Technical
• Familiarity with other programming or scripting languages (VB, Java, Python, etc.)
• Familiarity with on-prem. client/server and n-tier architectures
• Familiarity with cloud based SaaS architectures and API techniques and concepts

Miscellaneous
• Experience with Agile project management, SDLC methodologies, ITIL service concepts and practices
• Experience with reporting tools (MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Tableau)
• Media & Entertainment (Studios) industry experience with TV and Digital distribution
