THE ROLE

Vibee is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to join the executive team. The Vice President of Marketing will drive global marketing strategy and to ensure strong cross-team collaboration, through thoughtful leadership, develop engagement growth for Vibee across its global markets. This is not a remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with executive team to define overall business, brand and marketing strategy
• Hire, develop and manage a cross-functional marketing department in a nurturing and effective environment
• Lead a high-performing team to deliver against objectives and collaborate across the marketing organization and affiliate marketing departments
• Act as an exemplary people leader by setting direction, fostering transparency, and providing guidance and coaching to build the next set of high-potential leaders
• Create and oversee strategic marketing plans and, in collaboration with Vice President of Partnerships, branding strategies for Vibee
• Define and oversee cross-marketing strategies and implementation for all brands across the Vibee destination experience and festival integration portfolio
• Bring life to new and existing strategic enhancements and initiatives through marketing innovations and maintaining senior level relationships
• Leverage digital marketing expertise and knowledge of digital platforms, both current and emerging, to inform department planning and priorities
• Evaluate insights from data and sales analytics to identify and determine development, optimization opportunities, new initiatives and sales tactics
• Demonstrate high level financial and budget management skills respective to Vibee brand and event marketing budgets
• Develop strategic relationships and partnerships to elevate Vibee brand and, by association, partner events
• Partner with Insomniac's product and technology departments to digitally deliver highly personalized and targeted customer experiences
• Ensure all marketing campaign plans are designed and implemented within budget and aligned to the strategic plan and business objectives
• Set, measure and drive results from appropriate KPI, metrics and overall growth of Vibee and Insomniacs' brands and audience
• Develop and grow CRM platform to maintain consumer relations and inform future marketing efforts; creating consumer profiles, loyalty programs, purchase histories, etc.
• Collaborate with fan experience and partnerships teams to ensure continuity and brand appropriateness in advance communication to onsite activation of customer experience at all Vibee events, including but not limited to customer service language, social media communication strategies, and post-event communication management
• In cooperation with Vice President of Partnerships, serve as a champion for the fan, working to advocate for initiatives that grow our understanding of the fans and ensure fan insights are properly leveraged across marketing and other functions
• Flexibility to perform other job-related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
• 15+ years experience with progressively responsible marketing roles – expertise in managing all facets of corporate and event marketing – branding, lead generation, sales support, PR, digital/social media and events
• 10+ years managing teams of direct and indirect reports
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related degree or applicable experience preferred
• Strong analytical capabilities with a track records of leveraging analytics to drive business performance
• Extensive B2B and consumer marketing experience and digital advertising ecosystem and existing rolodex of potential partners
• Experience in delivering solution-orientated sales materials and tools
• Understanding and experience working with quantitative marketing metrics, and acquisition techniques
• Ability to hire, develop and manage a cross-functional marketing department
• Extensive knowledge of live entertainment industry business models, best practices, and preferably of Insomniac's portfolio
• Relevant experience expressing brand attributes in a digital and direct response environment, and amplifying a brand or product value proposition with limited budgets within an ROI/transaction-oriented business
• Proven ability to identify the right audience, craft the appropriate messaging for the target, and activate customer segmentation models to improve business results
• Advanced capacity to absorb and integrate both qualitative insights and data to identify new approaches and solutions
• Rigorous approach to deadline management, overseeing short-term projects with tight timelines and long-term initiatives with critical stage gates
• Able to effectively and succinctly communicate with and influence multiple stakeholders across all levels
• Evidence of ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment where quality, innovation, speed of decision making, and execution are critical to organizational success

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates
• Must be willing to travel to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
