JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Manager, Brand Marketing

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who is passionate about building and executing multiplatform brand campaigns. The ideal candidate will keep abreast of cross-industry trends or developments to make the most of partnership opportunities and drive high volume traffic to each of Roc Nation's brand verticals, while overseeing internal team members as well as external agency partners and vendors.

Responsibilities:
• Assists Head of Brand Marketing in all category marketing activities, planning and budgeting; manages the execution of all plans across multiple regions and accounts
• Supports all efforts involved in traditional brand marketing – strategy, public relations, media, influencers, promotions, sampling, packaging, ecommerce, sales support, and retailer signage
• Oversees category budget and program management of each project to ensure alignment, accuracy and executional excellence
• Provides category and brand recommendations for promotional planning, as well as marketing support activities for both retail channel and e-commerce site
• Works collaboratively with all internal partners to develop promotional assets, approve concepts, artwork, renderings, sell sheets, p+ls, support planning and forecasting for retail accounts
• Plays key role in leading digital media and communications including briefing agencies, establishing content and media strategy, establishing KPIs and goals, researching new platform opportunities, and participating in the asset creation process
• Establishes influencer marketing strategy: briefing and developing contracts with agencies, influencer selection and approval, and leading the integration of content into marketing efforts
• Coordinates & interacts regularly with internal partners for brand integration and execution of all programs
• Works closely with Product Development and Creative teams to execute all artwork requirements for both existing & new items
• Reports to VP, Head of Brand Marketing & Communications

Requirements:

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- 6+ years qualifying experience in brand marketing, public relations, editorial, branded content, and/or digital media.
- Must have excellent organization, writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Versatile storyteller with the ability to think both analytically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the luxury, consumer packaged goods and entertainment industry segments.
- Strong track record of creating consistently successful awareness programs for premium brands.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the US media landscape.
- Ability to build and continually strengthen relationships with key media and influencers.
- Significant experience with developing and implementing digital campaigns.
- Expertise in social content strategy and what works in the dynamic, ever-changing world of social media.
- Previous tactical experience in social media responsible for publishing/creating social content and managing a brand's social presence.
- Excellent editorial judgement, the ability to quickly write and edit attention-grabbing copy, and a clear understanding of a brand's voice and visual style.
- Strong skills/experience in both Keynote and Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
- Previous experience working with and supporting commercial/sales teams is a plus.
