Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Structure and draft independent contractor/vendor agreements, client service agreements, sponsorship agreements, and other agreements in connection with conducting business at C3 as requested by General Counsel/Staff Counsel
• Discuss changes to C3 agreements with Associate In-House Counsel/General Counsel, assist with discussions with third parties to finalize agreements upon consultation with Associate In-House Counsel/General Counsel
• Legal research and analysis as requested by the General Counsel/Associate In-House Counsel
• Assist in the administration of all contractual agreements
• Communicate insurance matters to General Counsel/Associate In-House Counsel
• Assist in coordinating work with outside counsel and General Counsel/Associate In-House Counsel
• Administer and thoroughly coordinate all business/legal affairs, issues, and contracts
• Assume accountability for deals under tight timelines
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Passage of Texas Bar and license to practice in Texas
• Excellent legal writing and research skills
• Experience with in-house business & legal affairs department and/or experience working in general corporate legal department for a law firm
• Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Superior negotiation and legal drafting skills and high level of attention to detail
• Ability to build effective working relationships within and outside the company
• Ability to negotiate complex agreements independently or as part of a team
• Solution-oriented approach, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills, exceptional organization, and management reporting skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time
• Flexibility in work hours and availability, especially during major projects and events
• Ability to travel
