C3 Presents' Legal Department seeks an experienced, professional assistant for a fast paced, team-oriented environment. This position is a key role in keeping workflow moving through C3 Legal and communicating with all other C3 departments. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in learning about the live music industry. The Legal Assistant provides day-to-day administrative support to three Attorneys, two Paralegals, and a Legal Operations Manager. The Legal Assistant represents the Legal Department with all other departments within C3 – including production, sponsorship, talent buying, marketing, digital, accounting, etc. As the Legal Assistant, you are a driving force behind the success of the department by coordinating schedules, managing assignment timelines, maintaining records, and coordinating communications. You will work with multiple groups within the department, internal teams across C3, and external parties. We are looking for a person with the ability to cultivate and foster these professional relationships. This role requires a person who proactively anticipates needs and understands that a quick friendly conversation is sometimes more beneficial than an email.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administrative support for Attorneys, Paralegals, and Legal Operations Manager, including organizing and tracking incoming requests within established deadlines
• Prioritize and follow up on assignments and action items addressed to the Attorneys, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature
• Manage Attorneys' key upcoming commitments and responsibilities and promptly address day-to-day assignment and calendar inquiries
• Participate as requested in project meetings and maintain meeting logs
• Schedule department meetings, appointments, and obligations, ensuring assignments and schedules maintain on track
• Proactively address changes to calendar items, assignment timeframes, and assignment priorities by promptly communicating changes to those involved
• Ensure all department IT needs are met and supported
• Order office supplies
• Obtain Attorney access to all necessary company wide databases
• Coordinate detailed travel and lodging arrangements
• Accurate and timely filing of documents in Legal's database in an organized manner
• Serve as back-up and additional support to other members of the Legal Department
• Act as the gatekeeper between departments and C3 Legal to manage expectations
• Submit departmental event-specific information via applicable programs and track approval through proper channels
• Review Attorneys' schedules to build-in time for items such as brainstorming and traveling to their next meeting
• Perform other related duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3-5 years administrative experience, supporting several attorneys or executives at one time preferably in an in-house legal department or corporate legal department
• Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
• High proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Able to ''read'' situations and respond calmy in a diplomatic manner
• Team player willing to take ownership of responsibilities with a high level of positive energy and drive
• Ability to quickly learn organizational structure of the company and the objectives of the Legal Department
• Desire to cultivate effective working relationships within and outside the company
• Professional poise with a positive outlook and can-do attitude
• Desire to truly be helpful to your supervisors and co-workers, and go the extra mile without being asked
• Flexibility in work hours and availability, especially during major projects and events – we value work/life balance, but in a pinch, a bit more time is needed
• Passion for the live music industry
