In a rare opening, we are on the hunt for one superstar Business Development Coordinator to join our team and our mission. As Business Development Co-ordinator you will join the leading global live entertainment Promoter and support the local Business Development team in securing new brand partnerships across Live Nation's portfolio of Concert Touring, Ticketing, Music Festivals and Venues in Australia and New Zealand.
Day to day, the role involves assisting the team with ongoing sales administration tasks, prospecting new business, moving sales conversations forward and actioning key items and follow ups during the sales process through to finalising partnership deals.
Supporting the team with existing and new projects is an essential aspect of the role and working together to ensure best partner outcomes.
Business Development & Sales
• Provide general support to the Brand & Marketing Partnerships team including administration duties, WIP and agenda creation and updates
• Develop and own the new business brand partner contracting process
• Develop and own the generation of sales materials including sales presentations, briefs, term sheets
• Client prospecting, developing target lists for new business
• Proficient in Powerpoint and Keynote for the development and creation of
sales pitch presentations
• Proficient in Excel
• Assist with market research as directed and required by the team
• Compile monthly and quarterly sales reporting as directed
• Provide sales support to the team including attending meetings, maintaining client relationships and assisting with client requests
• Work collaboratively with the Client Services team
• Work collaboratively and engage with inter-company departments and key stakeholders
General Administration
• Attend meetings, issue meeting follow ups and actions points
• Coordinate admin tasks and planning documents as requested by
President & Sales Directors
• Coordinate client hospitality events
• Time management – ensuring external/internal meetings happen on time and adequate provisions have been made to ensure their smooth running
• Participate in team brainstorming around partner solutions
Industry Knowledge & Research
• Maintain a keen and up to date interest in music, entertainment, brands and trends and update Brand & Marketing Partnerships Team where relevant
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, music/ events /advertising/ media/ entertainment industry preferred
• Strong computer literacy – proficiency across PowerPoint, Keynote, Outlook, Word, Excel [other software skills].
• Ability to communicate effectively in a manner consistent with the culture and across all levels
• Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, sensitive to relationships and situations
• Strong attention to detail
