Job Description

Summary of Position

The Senior Manager for Global Archival Mastering is responsible for managing the final delivery, ensuring quality control, and archival of all home video (4K/UHD/HDR/HD), audio (immersive, 7.1, 5.1 and 2.0), accessibility files, and archival elements for all LGTV produced series, Starz Originals, and TV series acquisitions.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with TV Post Production Teams, Acquisition Executives, Sales Teams, Legal Acquisitions, and Legal Delivery teams in the negotiation of the Post Production and Delivery Schedules to ensure that all elements are delivered in accordance with Lionsgate requirements and in time for release plans.

• Manage vendors responsible for Quality Control (QC) services with a focus on timely turnaround and constant improvement of the QC workflow.

• Collaborate with the Localization team to ensure preliminary assets (proxy files, scripts, audio) are available for dubbing and subtitling purposes, often for Day & Date releases.

• Coordinate and track delivery of materials to and from numerous vendors.

• Ensure that all final assets are properly logged in and assessable for Lionsgate Distribution requirements.

• Responsible for organizing and maintaining all delivery documents, QC reports, and accessibility files (captions and subtitles) within the Global Content Delivery database.

• Identifies opportunities to improve existing workflows to ensure all TV series are delivered efficiently and on time.

• Oversees delivery and sometimes creation of home entertainment accessibility files (closed captioning, English descriptive audio, Latin American Spanish subtitles/dubs).

• Works closely with Accounts Payable and vendors to ensure all invoices are properly received and processed.

• Provides regular updates on asset availability for distribution requirements.

Experience & Skills
• A minimum of 3 years of post-production, mastering or distribution experience.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task against deadlines, and handle multiple projects at once.

• Must have organizational, interpersonal, communication and time management skills.

• Experience in reading and understanding video and audio asset Quality Control reports

• Technical knowledge of video and audio assets required for content distribution including UHD, HDR, and various digital media assets (ProRes, IMF, MXF, DPX, EXR, TIF, etc)

Nice to Haves
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Experience with Media management software (Airtable, Monday, Box)

• Familiar with SAP and creation of purchase orders.

• Knowledge of localization workflow and file formats.

• Knowledge of distribution end point servicing.
