Summary of Position

The Motion Picture Group at Lionsgate is entering into a new phase of technology transformation driven by opportunities to improve colleague experience, raise productivity, and collaboration for inter-departmental applications. As a Sr. Analyst, you will focus on modernizing the workplace tools experience for teams across the Motion Picture Group. As a core member of our internal team dedicated to workplace experience, you will be responsible for the support, and development of our digital workplace solutions, with a primary focus on end-user experience.

This role will work alongside a growing department of critical thinkers, strategists, innovators, and people engineers who are solving some of the studio's biggest challenges. It is an opportunity to deliver tangible value inside the industry's largest independent motion picture studio.

Responsibilities

Tools Management
• Conduct Workplace Tools landscape assessment

• Regularly assess the tool's performance and provide recommendations on processes improvements to make the experience seamless and optimized

• Evaluate timing of software version upgrades and facilitate upgrades

• Strengthen our vendor strategic partnerships in support of our tech strategy and roadmaps

• Negotiate yearly maintenance contracts based on end-user usage reports

• Develop and sustain productive end-user relationships

Supporting Transformation
• Manage the development of business requirements

• Lead user acceptance testing, to ensure that the system addresses the business requirements from the user's point of view.

• Supports development of training and awareness content for end-users

• Train MPG employees on tools by being a SME to Champion Networks

• Contribute to the tech strategy for our new ways of working and the future of work

Experience & Skills
• 3-5 years' experience as a business analyst

• Passionate about user experience and a commitment to exceeding expectations

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership

• Growth mindset – the ability to map complex processes, build out a vision and case for change, design test pilots, and continuously improve/iterate

• Must be highly motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-pasted environment

Nice to Haves
• Professional certifications or equivalent educational experience in project management, design thinking, and agile/scrum principles.

• You are naturally interested in change and innovation

• Experience in film or television is a strong bonus, but equivalent skills from software or hardware technology or engineering are also helpful.
