Job Description
Summary of Position

The Specialist for Global Distribution Mastering is responsible for Foreign Language asset conformance, QC and mastering related tasks for catalogue titles, library acquisitions and original content in order to fulfill delivery to licensees. Assists with maintenance of the Material Inventory Tracking System (MITS) database and assigns tasks to Mastering Team in the MITS Workflow Application. Oversees daily data management, data entry, creates purchases orders, processes invoices and asset coordination between various vendors.

Responsibilities
• Assist Distribution Mastering team efforts to create digital distribution masters for all library, acquisition and produced TV/Digital content to ensure localized assets meet technical requirements for global distribution

• Update mastering trackers and Material Inventory Tracking System (MITS) to provide LG business units accurate up-to-date information regarding service-ready material

• Assign tasks to Mastering Team in the MITS Workflow

• Assist the mastering team to create international and domestic digital distribution masters. Conform existing foreign language assets (Dubs and Subtitles) as needed in order to fulfill global license agreements

• Review QC results and collaborate with key stakeholders to resolve required fixes

• Title Research

• Manage day-to-day relationship with vendors on project matters; provide regular status reports and proactively offer solutions to ensure quality results

• Notify Sales and Servicing teams when assets are serviceable

• Generate and process purchase order requisitions with various vendors and follow order through completion

• Additional projects as assigned

Qualifications and Skills
• A minimum of 3 years of mastering, post-production or entertainment-based lab experience

• Strong project management skills with the ability to take ownership of multiple projects against deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Working knowledge of digital mastering and digital media workflows, processes, standards, materials and techniques

• Detail oriented, highly organized, efficient time-management and resourceful in finding solutions to problems

• Clear verbal and written communication skills

• Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team setting

Nice to Haves
• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Technical knowledge of video and audio assets required for distribution

• Experience in reading and understanding Quality Control reports

• Foreign language knowledge

• Strong grasp of MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)

• Familiar with SAP and creation of purchase orders
