Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking a Coordinator in the Global Digital Sales & Distribution department. This position will lead all sales support efforts as part of a 7-person sales team responsible for maximizing revenue across the US, Latin America and Australia Transactional VOD ecosystem and will report into the SVP of Global Digital Sales & Distribution.

Responsibilities
• Support the Account Management team in day-to-day sales and partner relationships across domestic and international platforms

• Maximize revenue across the entire library (New Release and Catalog) via title sell-in, price-discounted promotions, content licensing agreement compliance and constant re-aligning of priorities with partners

• Lead pitch materials process, namely via the creation of monthly sales presentation, based on financial benchmarks, internal prioritization and strategic directives

• Assist in Lionsgate-initiated catalog promotions, analyzing marketplace events and trends for appropriate title pulsing opportunities

• Generate post-mortem recaps, analyzing success of new release campaigns, catalog promotions and monthly stunts

• Communicate internal sales updates to entire Global Sales & Distribution division via weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports

• Play an integral role in New Release launch day and ad hoc Catalog platform QCs by ensuring that all Lionsgate titles are live on platform, merchandised in high-velocity placements and displayed with the correct pricing and marketing assets (e.g. key art, synopsis)

• Monitor monthly remittance statements to ensure that all royalty payments paid to Lionsgate are valid based on content licensing agreements

• Coordinate and distribute a weekly all media competitive tracking schedule

• Handle scheduling and travel for the EVP, Global Home Entertainment Sales & Distribution and SVP, Global Digital Sales & Distribution

• Execute directives from team, department and divisional leads

Experience & Skills
• 1+ years of experience in the EST/TVOD, Home Entertainment or Retail Marketing space

• Studio-level experience preferred

• The successful candidate must be highly motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented and display strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to go above-and-beyond without being asked, eliciting critical thinking with recommendations for process and strategy improvements

• Familiarity with all Distribution types, including EST, TVOD, SVOD, AVOD, Theatrical and Non-Theatrical

• Passionate, energetic individual who has demonstrated knowledge of keeping up with fast-paced digital sales and retail environment

• Widespread knowledge of the film and TV industry and an enthusiast for film and TV content (both current and historical)

• A confident and professional written and phone demeanor is a must

• Must have elite proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)…SAP and Presentation Software a plus.

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business, media or communications

Motion Picture Group

The Global Digital Sales & Distribution team manages the Worldwide Transactional EST and VOD (TVOD) business and partner relationships worldwide, including all global and local platforms, operated out of offices in Santa Monica, London and Toronto. Among a plethora responsibilities are P/L oversight, content valuation, sales pitching, contract compliance and strategic partner management.
Our lean 11-person team is responsible for selling-in 50-70 New Releases per year and mining/re-promoting our library of 5,000+ titles, leaning on
opportunistic zeitgeist drafting to price discount 150-200 unique promotions per month. Within the New Release segment, we have a strategic focus on our multi-platform slate, specifically the Day-and-Date Theatrical VOD titles via our in-house acquisitions and 3rd party distribution agreements. We utilize an aggressive , nimble and relationship-first approach with a constant understanding of our partner's macro and micro goals to align our priorities to generate win-win outcomes. We pride ourselves on being the ''first call'' from our partners – fostering personal relationships to ensure we are the preferred studio among equals. In order to execute sales and maximize revenue, we work closely and cross- functionally with several internal Global teams – including Licensing & Strategy, Sales Planning, Content Operations & Strategy, Theatrical Distribution, Television Distribution, Worldwide Content Delivery Services, Marketing, Rights Management, Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting.
