Summary of Position
Lionsgate has an opening for an Coordinator to support the VP & SVP, TV Business Affairs. This opportunity provides an excellent learning experience for an individual with a strong interest in the business side of television.
Responsibilities
• Efficiently support busy executives responsible for negotiating deals for scripted television
• Handle all administrative responsibilities for the executive including expense reporting, scheduling all meetings, coordinating conference calls and recognizing all visiting guests)
• Create and maintain status reports, facilitate payments for talent, and draft high volume of correspondence
• Maintain the executives' and the department legal files and assist in the day to day operations of the department
• Depending on skill, educational level and interest, assistant will gain experience drafting and commenting on agreements
Qualifications & Skills
• 1 year of related experience, working in film or television
• The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
• Must be good at prioritizing tasks
• Strong Interest in the Business side of Television
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and the Adobe suite
• A college degree required, with an emphasis in Business preferred
