Job Description
HBO Max™ is WarnerMedia's direct-to-consumer streaming platform, offering best in class quality entertainment. HBO Max features the greatest array of storytelling for all audiences from the iconic brands of HBO, Warner Bros., DC, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Turner Classic Movies and much more. The platform launched in the United States in May 2020 and introduced a lower priced, advertising-supported tier in June 2021. HBO Max recently began its global rollout launching in 39 markets across Latin America and the Caribbean, and HBO Max will enter Europe later this year and into next as it begins replacing the HBO-branded streaming services.

The Senior Director, Brand and Content Marketing, EMEA will oversee the team responsible for brand and content marketing for HBO Max across EMEA. This leadership role is responsible for localising HBO Max's positioning and developing a marketing strategy that resonates with consumers in EMEA to drive brand awareness and overall growth. You will lead and nurture a team of highly driven marketing professionals that will be located across EMEA. This is a very collaborative role and will partner closely with Acquisition Marketing, Creative Services, PR and Social Media to create engaging and innovative campaigns.

The Daily
• Develop the brand and content marketing strategy to bring HBO Max EMEA to market. Work with the central HBO Max EMEA campaign team and agency partners in the development and execution of HBO Max launch and ongoing brand and content marketing campaigns
• Partner with HBO Max Brand and Content Marketing global teams to ensure the voice, positioning and value proposition resonate within the EMEA region
• Partner with the different Growth teams to maximise the branding and success of our original productions in the country of origin
• Responsible for yearly brand planning, visual design, and communication strategy for awareness- and consideration-driven marketing campaigns
• Develop above-the-line marketing budget, optimizing marketing spend to maximise brand and content awareness and drive affinity measures
• Develop media strategy and collaborate with WM EMEA marketing team to maximise exposure on WarnerMedia linear channels and drive efficiencies in media buying and creative development
• Coordinate with the team responsible for influencers to get brand exposure on the different demos
• Manage and continuously develop a team of highly driven marketing professionals across EMEA
• Manage and oversee the marketing strategy, positioning and activities when entering new markets; ensuring a flawless execution of all marketing campaigns by hiring and leading brand and content marketing teams located in the different countries in EMEA
• Partner closely with analytics and research to determine KPIs to evaluate the impact of campaigns and to make recommendations to align marketing strategy with business goals.

The Essentials
• Extensive experience developing and driving the strategy of brand and content marketing campaigns ideally for a direct-to-consumer product
• Significant prior experience working in a leading Marketing function in the EMEA market
• Proven leadership skills and experience
• Advanced understanding of customer segmentation and how to address different needs of each consumer base
• Ability to analyse, interpret data and use insights to inform marketing campaigns and make recommendations
• Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels; exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills are a must
• Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on metrics and KPIs for business goals, process improvement projects, and campaign management
• Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically
• Fluency in English is required
• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience; MBA a plus
