The Job

The Manager, Marketing Automation, HBO Max will be responsible for the Braze platform technical interfaces with our backend systems, working with Product/ Tech/ Data teams to ensure platforms integration, localized instance design, maintenance, enhancements, audience planning, proper tagging, attribution of data flows for consumer and performance data. S/He will also be responsible for managing the marketing tech stack to support Marketing strategy and execution that drive growth and retention.

The Daily
• Responsible for activating and managing customer data through key integrations into Martech platforms such as Braze
• Implement SDKs (Mobile & Website)
• Connect to APIs to pull in personalized data and content
• Connect campaign data to reporting tools and platforms to get unified view of performance
• Function as the conduit between US and other territory teams to ensure consistency in tech execution and education of existing MarTech capabilities
• Partner with internal product, tech, and engineering teams on enhancement requests, provide technical requirements, and facilitate project execution
• Facilitate the implementation of proper taxonomies and naming conventions across digital channels to ensure accurate data collection for marketing performance analysis
• Lead vendor evaluations, POCs, and MarTech and Data Provider implementations
• Create and implement test strategies, including A/B multi-variant testing that maximise conversions
• Manage and maintain cross-functional relationships (marketing, technical, and business teams) as well as external vendors and agencies.
• Run agile sprint by sprint execution of experimentation initiatives

The Essentials
• Minimum 5 years-experience working with marketing automation platforms (preferably Braze)
• Experience doing data integrations within platforms (Salesforce, Braze, Segment, Redshift, AWS) via SFTP, REST API and Webhooks
• Experience with Mobile Channels and SDKs
• Knowledge for Javascript or similar or templating language (preferably liquid)
• Experience in working with Looker and comfortable manipulating large data sets
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills, particularly within large organizations.
• Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and timelines.
