Title: Manager, Social & Display Acquisition Insights
The Manager, Acquisition Insights will play a key role in producing insights for campaigns across the full spectrum of paid social and display channels and platforms in our marketing portfolio, to unlock learnings that directly impact the trajectory of our business.
The Manager will act as support for the team and work with all levels to ensure campaign success. He/She will be required to use data to tell a story, using a combination of marketing platform data, on-site analytics, consumer research, and analytics tools to arrive at meaningful insights. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how media dollars work cross-channel, and how marketing tactics affect downstream KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
The Manager will partner with respective leads in Display Media (Programmatic & Direct), Paid Social, Creative, Data Science and Business Intelligence to:
• Create reporting and dashboards to monitor performance
• Drive optimizations on audience and creative mix across Display Media and Paid Social
• Track performance with granularity down to the audience-level, to surface analogous performance-based insights to key decision makers
• Analyze and interpret data to evaluate daily performance to:
• Recommend trends, fluctuations, competitive pressure
• Measure and evaluate the success of display and social media advertising campaigns to inform investment decisions
• Cross-channel synergies & testing opportunities
• Build a storyline to showcase data learnings and analysis in written-form for internal and external department audiences
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to help answer key questions the marketing & leadership teams seek to understand
• Partner with Marketing Technology and Marketing Analytics teams to ensure taxonomy is maintained to allow insights to be actionable
• Perform regular quality assurance/quality control checks on campaigns to ensure they are running as planned
Requirements & Qualifications
• 3-5 years digital marketing experience, leading data-driven analysis with emphasis on cross-channel tactics, audience, creative, and the puts & takes that influence marketing KPIs (CPMs, CPCs, CTRs, etc.)
• Proven track record of interpreting data and unearthing insights to inform marketing campaigns.
• Familiarity with marketing technology tools and their implementation.
• Strong background in presenting complex data to an executive audience (PowerPoint, Google Suite of Products).
• In-depth experience and understanding of marketing tactics across Paid Social, and Display
• Other channels such as Search, Affiliate and Organic Search are a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally at all levels, utilizing exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Google Analytics, and an expert in Excel.
• Experience with direct-to-consumer and/or subscription services preferred.
