Associate, Editorial Product Manager

Job Description

What we need:
• Constantly monitor HBO Max applications in-market
• Embed with our LATAM editorial team and manage a backlog of feature requests and improvements to our planning tools
• Define and prioritize business requirements consisting of epic charters, user stories, and functional requirements
• Communicate vision, strategy, objectives and KPIs for new features
• Collaborate with product designers and global team to develop best-in-class user flows
• Maintain internal and external relationships with regard to editorial, content, publishing, project management, internal departments, and vendors
• Continuous reporting and analytics on performance & metrics, including post-project release impact reports, leading to actionable plans and results

Why we need it:

The Product team is responsible for designing, rolling out and measuring of new features in the region, as well as overseeing app status and properly escalating any issue that affects the HBO Max performance in-market. It is crucial to have resources in-market to properly manage day-to-day operations and new releases. This person(s) will support:
• Editorial team processes and responsibilities to ensure a quality product on a daily basis.
• Feature validation for the Play app.
• Production issues escalation and reporting
• Roadmap tracking for the Editorial team.

Required experience:
• 0-2 years of Project or Product Management experience or relevant analyst or academic experience
• Must be fluent in Spanish
• Experience building complex workflows in Airtable, Smartsheets, Excel or similar software
• Exceptionally strong communicator, skilled at aligning business leaders and managing shifting priorities
• Prior experience working within portfolio management systems (ex: Trello, Asana, Confluence) and bug tracking systems (ex: JIRA)
• Direct experience in detailed planning and prioritization of epics and road mapping feature requests
• High comfort level in analytics and generating business insights from data trends
• Self-starter, accountable and empowered
• Collaborative work style
• Detail-oriented
