Job Summary/Description:

KNOE 8 News, Monroe, La. has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Production Assistant. The Production Assistant will edit videos for the newscasts, archive videos, and run the prompter. This position requires the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and changing schedules.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Edit video for newscasts
- Operation of the teleprompter
- Publish stories/videos on KNOE.COM
- Assist with live and pre-recorded productions for KNOE, KAQY, and KNOE.COM
- Work with other departments to coordinate and produce top-rated television and digital programs

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous television production or video editing experience is preferred
- Team player with a professional attitude and strong communication skills
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task under time-sensitive deadlines
- Strong technical and computing skills
- Experience with Edius editing systems is a significant plus
