What You'll Do

The Creative Producer role is part of Frieze Studios, Frieze's internal creative agency. Working closely with the Partnerships team, Frieze Studios ideates and manages creative solution for brands, institutions, and sponsors. This role leads on delivery for a wide array of initiative from start to finish and contributes ideas to concepts and project proposals.

The role will report to the Director of Studios & Branded Content.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
• Collaborate with the team to generate concepts and brainstorm ideas for brands, including helping suggest talents for content, activations and commissions.
• Contribute to the development of creative solutions for both Frieze co-branded collaborations as well as for white label projects.
• Write proposals and pitches for clients. This includes carrying out required research, collating information and imagery to help strengthen proposals.
• Liaise directly with clients and represent Frieze Studios in internal and external meetings.
• Simultanously manage and coordinate a number of projects and events related to partners and fairs.
• Manage and coordinate the delivery of multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines and budgets.
• Establish timelines and production schedules, and manage production and delivery accordingly.

• Manage permanent, freelance and temporary staff involved in the production of projects, events and activations.
• Manage on-site production and activations at Fairs and at offsite projects as necessary.
• Manage a Creative Producer and an Assistant Producer.
• Ensure that appropriate workflows are implemented and followed.
• Develop concepts that meet partners' expectations whilst adhering to Frieze's values and objectives.

You Will Have The Following Strengths
• Ability to create conceptual outlines and produce original ideas that maintain the Frieze brand identity.
• Capable of managing quantitative and technical duties while also using eye for detail to implement the visual aspects of an event.
• Proven ability to multitask many different responsibilities and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external teams in order to oversee events.
• Excellent knowledge of fabrication and production across all art form mediums, including traditional and new technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of creative content production, including written and digital content.
• Network of artists and talent within creative industries as well as free-lance professionals who may assist with production.
• Highly-organised, exceptional communication skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
• Proven ability to work with artists and curators, to produce and deliver artistic projects.

We'd Love If You Also Have These
• Relevant experience working with artists and curators on ambitious productions
• Proven experience within a related environment such as a commercial gallery, museum, international art fair or publication.
• A deep knowledge and understanding of the contemporary art world.
• Experience in developing client proposals
• Knowledge of InDesign and SketchUp
• Ability to present proposals to clients
• Knowledge of other languages welcome

Working Conditions
• The position is based in London but the candidate will be required to travel to fair locations as well as to other project locations on a case by case basis.
• Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract for 7.5 Months.
