Job Description
Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities:

An ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills and be able to work under tight deadlines. Producer will be in charge of creating content that resonates with digital audiences on KTVU's digital and social media platforms. Must be willing to learn content creation and analytics software. Candidate will work collaboratively with digital team, newsroom and Fox owned local stations to generate original story ideas and content. Knowledge of local television newsroom operations a plus. Other duties assigned as deemed appropriate and necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma is required; 4-year College degree is preferred. Candidate should have at least 3 years in news or digital content production. A strong technical understanding of new technology is also required. Excellent communication skills are required.
