Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KSAZ FOX 10, the dominant newsroom in Phoenix, is seeking an experienced reporter with a passion for winning. Beginners need not apply. We are seeking a highly creative individual who routinely generates unique story ideas and is willing to take risks to tell those stories using non-traditional techniques both on-air and on-line. Applicants must display the ability to research, write and deliver compelling stories both live and on tape. Must show strong proficiency for breaking news coverage, ad libbing, and superior interview skills. Work cohesively with producers, editors and photographers to create news stories and features. Work accurately and efficiently meeting tight deadlines. Develop and maintain sources. Make public appearances on behalf of the station. Must have strong track record using social media to attract, inform and engage the audience.

Minimum 4 years' experience reporting. Proficiency with newsroom computers and related software required. Local/national travel, weekends, holidays, varied work hours required. Four year college degree required. Experience in investigative and political reporting a plus. Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid AZ driver's license and be able to drive.
