Job Description
Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

WFLD is seeking a staff producer to contribute to one of Fox 32's newscasts. This role requires a producer to gather facts, find video and oversee editing of stories. The candidate must have strong writing skills and be self-sufficient for the newscast. Responsible for story content and accuracy. Must perform all other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have 2-3 years producing experience, experience as a line producer and computer knowledge preferred. Must be creative, concise, detail oriented, able to handle deadline pressure and take direction from managers. Reliability, good news judgment, and factual accuracy are crucial. Heaving sitting at workstation, light standing, bending, walking and stair climbing are also required. Candidate must be able to work flexible hours; early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays may be required
