Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position will be responsible for providing support for all financial aspects of Fox First Run Productions. The role requires superior attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communications skills. Furthermore, the role requires an individual with a strong work ethic and someone who can multi-task.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with all aspects of month end close, including preparing & booking monthly journal entries.
• Work closely with the Director of Finance with all aspects of reporting deliverables for quarter-end and year-end.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Own the monthly AR process for the syndication sales of two nationally syndicated shows.
• Assist with all financial deliverables of MyNet.
• Liaise and collaborate with the production accounting teams amongst the various shows – including but not limited to doing some production accounting functions as necessary.
• Ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related area, preferably accounting or Finance.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required.
• Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• PSL production accounting software is a plus.
