Freelance Social Designer, Sports

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you an up and coming creative, who is also a sports fan? Our digital team is seeking to add a Freelance Social Designer who can help take our creative to the next level across all of FOX Sports social media. So, what will you do? You will help support and work with sport-specific Content Producers on ways to bring their accounts to life, in an exceptionally artistic way. Brands to include but not limited to NFL on FOX, MLB on FOX, Fox Soccer, CFB on FOX, CBB on FOX, PBC on Fox, NASCAR on FOX, WWE on FOX.

The Social Designer will include a range of responsibilities. While your primary focus will be on designing templates, you will also assist in creating original pieces of art. We want you to set the internet on fire (in the best way possible). This job will include graphic production, editing, and keeping a finger on the pulse as to what's working and what's not working in social, to drive improvement.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Enhance all original content of all sports brands – includes helping to create and optimize creating sports content for social, assisting in taking all of FOX Sports visuals to the next level in creative
• Assist in executing innovative concepts for both static and motion graphics across sports verticals
• Help support creation of sales, marketing, programming, digital, linear, studio and other show assets
• Work alongside Content Producers to create cutting-edge visuals across FOX Sports Digital platforms
• Support the Sr. Designer in developing new graphics packages for FOX Sports Digital platforms and social accounts

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 1-2+ years of experience in digital / social content creation or production
• Understanding on what works well on digital, and experience working with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, owned and operated platforms
• A strong grasp of internet culture and trends
• An advanced understanding of typography & attention to detail
• Advanced skillset in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
• A bachelor's degree is awesome, but not required

The pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $25.00-30.00 per hour. We provide Freelancers medical/dental/vision insurance and 401k after they meet eligibility criteria and any State required time-off, in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
