JOB DESCRIPTION

The FOX Sports Creative Services Department in Charlotte, NC is currently seeking a Freelance Junior Motion Graphics Designer to join our high-energy, fast paced award-winning team in support of Fox Sports 1's First Things First morning show. Because this is a morning show, call time will be 3 am Monday through Friday. This staffing runs for 15 weeks, starting April 12, 2021 and ending July 23rd, 2021.

As the Freelance Junior Motion Graphics Designer, you will work under the Senior Vice President of Design's supervision. You will create and execute graphics for use across all Network platforms. You will implement, execute, and maintain graphic elements for marketing, web, remote, and studio productions, and providing graphics packages to outside producers for FOX Sports commissioned programs. You must be able to create and produce required graphic elements, organize the graphic elements library, and archive digital project files as required.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and execute graphics for on-air use across all studio and remote shows
• Implement, execute and maintain graphic elements for on-air and providing graphics packages to outside producers for FOX Sports commissioned programs
• Design and execute graphics for all on-air programs and promotions

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 0 – 3 years in broadcast television graphic design and production
• Proven design and typography skills
• Proven creative skills in utilizing Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and various 3-D software
• Strong Conceptual and Design skills, 3D Animation, and Modeling skills
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills, and motivation to work in a creative environment
• Must possess the ability to work within strict timelines in an organized manner
• Must be a team player and have the ability to communicate with other groups within our department
• The ability to multitask and work effectively in a time sensitive, high pressure environment

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
• Degree in Graphic Design or a related field
