JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Nation is seeking a dynamic, Production Assistant to work on long-form programming to work on The Pursuit! With John Rich. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent editorial skills to work on all aspects of long-form production from concept to completion! The Production Assistant should be able to determine, plan, and manage their own day-to-day activities as well as long-term priorities regarding all aspects of the production.

This is a 6-month project-based staff role with benefits.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in producing segments
• Pitch story ideas and write scripts
• Booking and greeting guests for segments
• Working heavily with social media content
• Assist with field shoots when necessary
• Multi-tasking and prioritizing in a 24/7 breaking news environment

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Solid production and post- production skills
• Strong social media and digital skills
• Prior internship or job experience in production
• A strong knowledge of news & current events
