Account Executive

FOX21 and SOCO CW sales division is expanding its team! We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Account Executive.
• This sales professional must have a winning attitude and a desire to succeed! Responsibilities include managing agency/transactional business, creating new business opportunities, negotiating with both agencies and direct clients, building client relationships, preparing proposals, and presenting to a diverse customer base. The position requires excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills. The ideal candidate is a people person who is responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, and ultimately growing our broadcast and digital revenue!
• Implements strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed both broadcast and digital revenue goals.
• Establishes credible relationships with local agencies and local businesses alike.
• Makes sales calls on prospective clients and develops new accounts.
• Understands the competitive landscape and is a resource for clients on research, market, and media trends
• Develops advertising schedules with clients to provide effective media solutions
• Negotiates media schedules and rates to secure market share
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Minimum one year's experience in sales, preferably in the media field.
• Must be able to multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment and have a proven track record of sales success
• Must be self-motivated, flexible, driven, and be able to work independently
• Preferred working knowledge of impression-based selling
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing the strategies and actions to achieve them.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
• This is a commission based position plus Bonus potential. Other benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K match, and Parental leave.
