Social Media Video Production Artist, Blossom

Job Description

We’re excited to welcome a Production Artist to collaborate on creating viral videos with our team of producers. Blossom Production Artists are the on-camera performers in our videos, showing the step-by-step process of our inspirational video ideas; sparking creativity and curiosity in our audience, and inspiring them to live smarter, more artful, and more productive lives. Blossom video categories include gardening, crafting, recycling, organizing, fashion, cooking, and much more! Blossom Production Artists are crafters, artists, and makers of interesting things and DIY ideas to share with our audience. Our successful candidates will be heavily researched, collaborative, full of great ideas, and enthusiastic.

You will:

• Support our video creation team from ideation through post-analysis

• Research and develop ideas

• Prepare and organize materials for shoots

• Support the Producer while filming, handling problem-solving as issues arise

• Maintain a business-minded look at our content through the lens of analytics

• Track video performance and help make recommendations to improve virality

You have:

• Prior relevant experience in comparable creative work

• Understanding of the stages of video production, trends, and virality in social media

• A positive, team-focused, “can do” attitude

• Comfortable being on camera (no dialogue required)

• Ability to travel to and work on-site (and sometimes off-site, for small errands, etc.)

• A knack for coming up with great ideas to inspire viral content

• A collaborative mindset and a passion for helping create high-quality content for billions of viewers
