Hello sunshine! FINN Partners is on the hunt for a Social Media Manager to join our UK Travel Practice. Ideally you will have around three years of experience in developing creative and engaging social media content, managing social channels, creating digital strategies and working with content creators across social platforms as well as a passion for the travel industry. Our Travel Practice is multi-award winning, scooping Agency of the Year at the Travel Marketing Awards this month and Best PR Agency at the TravMedia awards 2022.

What does a Social Media Manager at FINN Travel UK do?
• Develops creative and engaging social media strategies
• Manages the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
• Oversees, plans and delivers content across different platforms using FINN scheduling tools
• Creates engaging multimedia content across multiple platforms
• Develops, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns
• Forms key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
• Undertakes audience research
• Manages and facilitates social media communities
• Monitors, tracks, analyses and reports on performance on social media platforms using FINN tools
• Researches and evaluates the latest trends and techniques
• Analyses competitor activity
• Recommends improvements to increase performance
• Sets targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement
• Manages, motivates and coaches junior staff
• Manages a budget for social media activities
• Regularly liaises with clients via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face

What do you need to succeed?
• A minimum of 3 years of professional relevant experience.
• Consumer, digital, broadcast, journalism, or travel comms experience.
• Deep understanding of digital communications
• Understanding of travel industry.
• Working knowledge of media relations.
• University degree or equivalent.
• Strong oral, writing and editing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate account staff.
• Knowledge of influencer marketing landscape and trends
• Strong influencer marketing skills and relationships
• Entrepreneurial spirit and passion
