Position Summary:

The Assoc Manager Ticket Operations will help to manage ESPN's ticket assets across all sports and events. The Ticket Operations team connects clients, partners and consumers to the ESPN brand by giving them the opportunity to experience sports live. This highly visible role will manage the allocation and distribution of all tickets throughout the Company and will also manage the production of certain hospitality programs from concept through completion. The position requires setting a strategic and organized vision, as well as tactical execution for events and hospitality programs. The Assoc Mgr Ticket Operations will report to a Director on the Ticket Operations team.

Responsibilities:
• Manages all aspects of ticket execution for ESPN to ensure deadlines are met and productivity is maximized
• Cultivates and nourishes relationships with external ticket contacts as necessary to request and secure ticket allocations
• Juggles various ticket events simultaneously ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are maintained.
• Liaises with essential stakeholders across ESPN and The Walt Disney Company to successfully allocate, distribute, and utilize ticket assets.
• Owns and understands the ticket budget and manage tracking documents through SAP
• Contributes to the development and communication of pre and post communication material related to ticket distribution
• Establishes best practices and optimizes processes and procedures surrounding ticket technology
• Supports external hospitality events and programs as needed to cover ESPN's commitments

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Ticket Operations in sports or a related industry
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on business needs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Position requires extensive travel, untraditional hours and working beyond a 40 hours work week
• Independent decision maker with solutions oriented mind-set
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Thrives in team culture
• Ability work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications or a related field
