Job Description
The Associate Marketing Manager assists the Director in the development of overall marketing and promotion strategies for the ESPN Audio portfolio, including our podcast, network radio and digital/satellite/smart speaker businesses. The Associate Marketing Manager will support revenue development efforts and contribute to audience development/expansion efforts on owned and partner platforms.

This role can be NYC based or Bristol, CT based.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Director with the day-to-day management of assigned sales materials and promotional campaigns. This includes
• Development and creation of ESPN Audio brand positioning and content overview materials (Story Decks, One Sheets, Printed Materials, Sizzle Videos)
• Management of account-specific sales pitch materials by collaborating with Sales and Research teams to develop custom solutions (Pitch Decks, RFP Responses, Sizzle Videos, Partnership Recaps, etc.) to help drive revenue and create up-sell opportunities
• Management of all third-party vendors to develop sizzle reels, printed materials and merchandise that the Sales Team utilizes to help drive revenue and close sales
• Supporting audience development and expansion by contributing to promotional campaigns on platform or with distribution partners
• Assisting in the design and development of show-specific promotional assets, including show tiles, social assets, email, radio and podcast scripts, TV/video spots
• Contributing to revenue and audience development related events efforts, including B2B (IAB, Podfront, Podcast Movement) and ESPN Audio hosted events.
• Establishing relationships with key personnel in the marketing department, other business units, and affiliate partners
• Ensuring accuracy and excellence of all work done internally and by partner agencies/affiliates
• Learning the department's budget process and managing the team finances

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of related marketing or business experience with an understanding of marketing fundamentals, including strategic development, creative evaluation, budget management and digital advertising, as well as an understanding and affinity for podcasting, network radio and social media

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to distill performance metrics data
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Detail oriented self-starter with strong collaboration skills
• Outstanding verbal and written interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of and interest in all sports
• A healthy appreciation of the role sports plays in popular culture
• Is a passionate ESPN fan
