Presentation Designer, Marketing

Job Description

The Graphic Design position requires a visual storyteller that lives in Adobe Creative Suite. Whether printed or digital, they must strategically consider style guides, brand intent and translate information into compelling visual presentations and other communications and artwork for new business development, event marketing and internal client support services.

The main function of this position will be assisting in innovating and executing design efforts to support the New Business Development teams. The candidate must possess strong creative, communication and time management skills, an understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, and a dedication to upholding the company brand standards. Graphic design, typography, and writing skills are critical, as well as attention to detail.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in design and creation of compelling print and digital materials, presentations, and events marketing components
• Work with creative manager to update design processes and templates to utilize across workstreams to maximize efficiency and deliver best products
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all brand guidelines and best practices are being met
• Work alongside events marketing creative team to provide design support for events as needed
• Set priorities, manage multiple tasks and projects, anticipate needs, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Utilize resources effectively and efficiently to produce accurate, quality work even when under pressure
• Collaborate and communicate within the team and across workstreams providing follow-through on information and project status
• Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
• 2–4+ years of graphic design experience
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), Keynote, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Great visual eye for style, branding control, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Creative, innovative, and strategic thinker with excellent visual storytelling skills
• Strong language, writing, proofing and editing skills
• Collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Social media creation experience
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks and take ownership of your workload
• Natural curiosity about the ever-evolving graphic design landscape and technology

Portfolio: demonstrating strong graphic, layout, typography, and presentation skills
