Job Description

Culturespaces announced a partnership with IMG, a global leader in events, media and fashion, to create an immersive multimedia experience in New York City called 'The Hall des Lumières' in Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood.

Located in the former 'Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank', the Hall des Lumières art center will offer immersive exhibitions dedicated to the great masters of art history in a 28,000 ft² space across from New York's City Hall.

The exhibitions will be designed to complement the venue's interiors of marble, columns, bank tellers, stained glass windows and sculptures, to enhance the unique multi-sensory experience.

Maintenance Manager

Working under the supervision of the General Manager, you will be responsible for general repairs and the maintenance of the site's buildings and facilities.

Responsibilities:
• Managing and supervising maintenance and repairs:
• Overseeing servicing, maintenance and repairs (electrical and plumbing work, maintenance of equipment, carpentry, and painting) while complying with safety regulations and meeting deadlines
• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment
• Manage external service providers and workers
• Suggest improvements
• Help to maintain the cleanliness of the venue
• Manage deliveries (reception, verification, handling and storage)
• Managing safety procedures:
• Organize and monitor evacuation and safety procedures
• Verify the security systems and safety equipment
• Managing and supervise the team:
• Take part in the recruitment of staff
• Organize the teams' schedules and timetables
• Conducting annual evaluation interviews
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Formal Training
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency

Experience
• 3 or more years of related maintenance and skilled repairs
