We are seeking a motivated and passionate full time Head Chef. Must have 6 years of restaurant management experience, good knife skills, poised under pressure, high volume experience, inventory, ordering and cost conscious.

This is a unique opportunity for a creative and ambitious junior chef that is passionate about food and menu development.

The Head Chef will lead the Culinary Team with a hands-on approach who will set the example, train and follow-up with the cooks when it comes to problem-solving, new developments or special requests from guests. The Head Chef will be required to maintain the highest level of studies regarding ingredient knowledge and recipe methods.

We are currently seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team.

The Head Chef will be self-motivated, driven, inspiring and hospitality focused.

They must also have keen people and business skills which include communication skills, motivation skills, leadership skills, problem solving skills, and organizational skills. Equally important is the ability to maintain a positive team-oriented and supportive attitude.

This is a full-time position and compensation is a salaried management position, based on experience.

Requirements (but not limited to):
• Three years senior level or Head Chef experience in high-quality, volume-oriented environment.
• AOS Culinary School graduate or related training.
• Passionate culinarian with great palette and sense of presentation.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in environment with time constraints.
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively.
• Ability to develop, implement and maintain systems for culinary staff and kitchen assistants.
• Ability to effectively train and develop staff and build team morale.
• Ability to hold others accountable for following company standards and procedures.
• Ability to innovate and implement new ideas.
• Demonstrated effective leadership skills including delegation skills.
• Ability to meet budgets including labor, food and applicable direct operating costs.
• Ability to work flexible schedule in order to accommodate business levels.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.
