Job Description
International exclusive speakers' agency, Harry Walker, is seeking a Junior Agent to join the Sales team. The Junior Agent assists the Senior Agent with all aspects of sales, database management, cultivating opportunities and contract negotiations. The Junior Agent earns a base salary plus shares in quarterly commissions based on revenue performance of the sales team. The Junior Agent cultivates and maintains buyer relationships on the agent's behalf, and within 1-2 years the Junior Agent should be expected to work independently on his or her own relationships and run his or her own book of business. Multitasking, problem-solving, strong organizational skills, good written and verbal communication skills and a sales mindset are all critical, and CRM experience is helpful. Industry experience in the events industry or sponsorship sales is a plus.
