The Challenge Ahead

Tracktwenty is Electronic Arts mobile game studio based in the center of Helsinki. The studio brought SimCity BuildIt to tablet and mobile and the game has more than 200 million installs to date. As well as growing SimCity BuildIt, the studio's passionate team of programmers, artists, designers, marketers, and analysts are working to create the next big hit to come out of Finland for EA Mobile.

Join us as Tracktwenty's next Lead Artist! As Lead Artist, you will work with our experienced incubation team on the development of a new stylized mobile game.

Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Art Director, you will lead an incubation project's art crew: Provide feedback that aligns with visual style and established brand. Offer guidance on best practices and new approaches to junior Art staff. Shepard communication between artists and other team members regarding visual design intentions.
• Contribution to concept and production work and asset integration (Unity/prefabs)
• People Management: You will work with artists on their career development and promoting the well-being of the team.
• Throughout development, ensure that the integrity of the direction is maintained by participating in formal reviews, brainstorming sessions, and playing the game to validate the visual experience.
• Interpret analytic data to guide development of art assets within areas of expertise.
• Work with the art team, partners and other disciplines to identify asset needs for priority experiences.
• Develop the project art style guide, prototypes/concepts, and presentations with the Art Director.

WIP Requirements:
• 5 years of Mid to Senior level Art experience in game development
• Expert in at least one major discipline within game art development (Concept art, 3d modeling, animation)
• Author and implement art assets in-engine (Unity)
• People management experience
• A passion for playing and making awesome games!

Pluses
• Mobile game development experience
