Overview

The Broadcast Scheduling Coordinator is responsible to create and maintain the traffic schedules, produce and deliver the final transmission playlists as well as performing the daily commercial & content reconciliation.

The Broadcast Scheduling Coordinator is expected to ensure that all the elements in the transmission schedules are placed with accuracy and consistently comply with established standards, policies, and procedures in a timely manner.

The incumbent is expected to effectively communicate with the various stakeholders such as Ad-Sales, Commercial Operations, Media Planning, Media logistics, Broadcast Operations, Programming, Creative Services and Appraiser to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities
• Responsible to create and maintain the traffic schedule in the sales system for commercial and sponsorship booking.
• Manage the sales breaks in traffic schedule to ensure adherence to the requirements and special requests from Ad-Sales, Commercial Operations.
• Create and maintain transmission templates in the content system in accordance with the requirements from Ad-Sales, Commercial Operations, Media Planning, Programming and Broadcast Operations.
• Ensure content and sales systems are in sync all the time, and to perform import of break file, commercial and sponsorship playlists from sales to content system as per the agreed timelines.
• Produce daily technical ready transmission playlists, ensuring the correct placements of programmes, commercials, promotion, interstitials, and secondary elements for a smooth transmission.
• Coordinate with Broadcast Operations for daily transmission, playlist export, missing materials, late changes, Live events, and other transmission related issues.
• Collaborate with Ad-Sales, Commercial Operations, Media Planning, Media logistics, Broadcast Operations, Programming, Creative Services and Appraiser for the day-to-day operations related to Transmission playlists.
• Perform daily as-run reconciliation for programs, promos, interstitials, and commercials.
• Coordinate with Broadcast Operations for any reconciling items and on-air discrepancies.
• Coordinating with Finance, Ad-Sales and Commercial Operations on daily reconciliation and month end processes.
• Any other job-related functions assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of media work experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in tight deadlines.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Has strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize the workload and multi-task effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer literacy and excel knowledge.
• Preferably have knowledge in IBMS software for presentation scheduling and BTS for Traffic system.
