Position Title
Vendor Coordinator, Scripting
Position Summary
As the Vendor Coordinator, Scripting, your primary focus will be maintaining and improving the external process and capacity for Scripting projects. You will accomplish this through consistent support of vendor onboarding and vendor management, and collaborating globally with various teams. The role is ideal for individuals who have a 'can-do' attitude, always looking to find solutions to challenges, and a passion for communication and collaboration. This position will be in Burbank, CA or remote.
Main Duties
• Providing ongoing support for vendor management, and coordination teams, including language prioritization, capacity requests, process changes, and vendor workflow
• Source, ensure training, and maintain relationships with new Scripting vendors
• Monitoring vendor operational quality; escalate as needed
• Answering vendor queries - workflow, rates, Sfera onboarding, etc.
• Maintaining Sfera profile information, for vendors
• Troubleshooting Sfera errors with vendors
• Updating operational processes and/or documentation
• Conducting scripting polls for vendors
• Reviewing and verifying vendor invoices
What You Bring
• BA/BS Degree in Communication, Production or Post Production Studies or applicable equivalent experience
• 1-2 years experience in similar positions
• Functional understanding of dubbing or subtitling processes
• Previous experience with vendor management is preferred
• Experience in managing or coordinating complex projects and working with large globally distributed teams
• Experience as a translator OR working with translators OR bi-lingual background are helpful
• Internally motivated to seek out, help develop, and support improvements
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Exceptional communication skills across all levels (verbal, written)
• Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
