Deluxe is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Mastering & Fulfilment Specialist to provide video editing, transcoder and quality control reviews for both TV and Cinema clients, locally and internationally.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversee quality control of all deliverables ensuring client specifications are met
• Process video content, transcodes and packages to specification within the deadline
• Work to tight deadlines to ensure fast-tracked TV series are processed in time for broadcast
• Sync dubbed audio, closed captions and subtitled files
• Responsible for ensuring high quality services are released on behalf of clients
• Actively monitor project risks to foresee problems and proactively identify solutions to rectify
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Train new staff when required
• Document and design production workflows
• Systems support
• Communicate and collaborate with management from other departments
• Attend client meetings offering support for sales and client services
• Monitor performance and KPI's
• Analyse and monitor production workflows to identify problems and recommend solutions that will improve performance
• Establish and monitor automation workflows
• Provide simplified explanations of technical workflows, procedures and definitions
• Willing to travel as required. Domestic and Internationally
• Other related technical/administrative tasks

What you bring:

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
• Previous experience in a media operations environment or similar role
• Solid technical understanding of the television and film distribution industry
• Strong understanding of HDR and Dolby Vision
• Native/professional/advanced spoken & written proficiency in Korean, supplemented with professional level English skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of major media software and hardware including Adobe CC, Resolve and Clipster
• Demonstrated ability to develop new procedures and processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
• Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, frame rates etc.
• Strong understanding of Mac, Linux and Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of basic command line operations
• VTR knowledge of current and redundant formats is favourable
• Ability to work well in a small team and independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm under tight deadlines
• Basic level understanding of data management and workflows
• Ability to explain in depth technical solutions to clients
• Professionalism, confidentiality, and diplomacy
• English language skills is highly regard but not necessary
