Fulfillment QC Operator

Summary

The Fulfillment QC Operator will work with all team members to insure that QC time is accurately estimated, communicated, executed and final deliveries are delivered on time per client specification.

They will perform quality assurance testing on video, audio, closed captioning, and subtitle files.

Primary Responsibilities
• Individual will perform spec compliance QC of the client supplied materials (audio, video, subtitles, metadata and graphics) for file production.
• Individual must efficiently utilize various audio and video production tools (software, ONE, Switch, Media info etc.).
• Individual must utilize sound audible and visual judgment during the performance of daily duties.
• Use of internal Spec Compliance wiki pages to verify compliance.
• Completing evaluation form with full descriptions of content quality and version if applicable.
• Individual must provide detail descriptions using internal QC database system or ONE System.
• Engage in on-going training programs as necessary.
• Must effectively analyze and communicate information in order to resolve issues and concerns as they arise.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skillset:
• 1-3 years quality control experience in the entertainment industry.
• Content QC Experience a plus.
• Individual must possess understanding of audio, video, film.
• Individual must be able to troubleshoot quality control issues, software, and player anomalies.
• Individual must be organized, diligent and detail oriented.
• Individual must possess solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Duties require an accurate and methodical approach to testing as well as a very focused and detailed attention to audio, video impairments.
• Individual must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines.
• Individual will need to make frequent ''subjective'' decisions as part of their daily function
• Individual must be willing to work nights and weekends, including holidays and passed their normal shift end if necessary.
