The Job

WarnerMedia/CNN+ is looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized individual with lots of initiative who thrives in a fast paced, test-and-learn environment to join the Growth Marketing Operations team. Reporting to Sr Director, Growth Marketing Operations, the Growth Marketing Operations Coordinator will assist in tracking cross-functional workflows to help ensure digital marketing campaigns are conceived, briefed, tested, tracked, approved, delivered and trafficked efficiently, on time and on budget. They will coordinate with our creative and media agencies, channel leads, creative marketing and other stakeholders and teams to ensure campaigns are launched successfully while following a clear and efficient process. The coordinator will track numerous deliverables, ensure they are input into tracking systems correctly, liaise with other departments on timelines and steps in executing a large volume of campaigns, assist with the process for QC, delivery and trafficking of paid and organic media assets, as well as track and organize payments and invoices.

The Daily
• Collaborate with creative marketing points of contact on actionable timelines, tracking and trouble-shooting any delays in execution, approval and delivery of creative deliverables.
• Partner with external agencies on their status documentation, deliverables tracking and ensuring shared systems are functioning as expected.
• Cross-reference documentation and deliverables trackers across various internal and external teams to ensure deliverables briefed to creative teams and agencies are accurate, avoiding duplication and incorrect information.
• Assist in maintaining best structure and functionality of shared project management tools, creating improvements and staying on top of new functionality and features.
• Communicate project deliverables, status, milestones, risks, and dependencies to working teams in a timely manner.
• Monitor and report project progress on a regular basis, maintaining and tracking status using project management tools.
• Traffick creative assets across digital platforms.
• Attend internal and external stand-ups and other meetings, create agendas, document and distribute meeting minutes, and track action items.
• Actively search and identify opportunities for process improvements to work better, faster, and smoother.
• Assist in managing billing and payment processes and invoices in collaboration with operations leadership and finance teams.

The Essentials
• 2-4 years of experience in a marketing operations role or project management within an advertising/marketing organization or agency.
• Knowledge of digital media campaigns and landscape (Social, Display, Search).
• Experience in digital media trafficking or ad ops.
• Biased toward action, with strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable with ambiguity.
• High energy, with a positive and can-do outlook.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies a plus.
• Experience with project management tools such as Airtable a big plus.
• Experience with asset management tools a plus.
• Experience with finance and invoicing a big plus.
