Responsibilities
What you'll do:
• Produce original long and short-term investigations tied mostly to business news, primarily for broadcast, including research, conducting interviews, writing scripts, field producing and overseeing editing.
• Investigate leads from sources, tips and other contacts.
• Collaborate with CNBC correspondents and producers on a regular basis to produce stories on specific beats.
• Deep-dive research and writing articles to accompany broadcast pieces on cnbc.com.

Qualifications/Requirements
What you'll bring:
• Five years' experience producing investigative reports for broadcast and writing investigative pieces for digital.
• Experience dealing with public records, FOIA requests, court documents, databases, SEC filings and other business-related records.
• Ability to produce/write on deadline and juggle multiple complex projects.
• Well-sourced in a variety of business-related fields with the ability to develop a wide range of sources around the country.
• Must have a bachelor's degree
• Willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news. Schedules will rotate, but must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and overnights. Must be able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift with little or no notice if needed.
