Los Angeles is known for its traffic problems. We want you to be known for helping our viewers solve them! KCBS/KCAL, the Los Angeles CBS O&O, and the nation's largest duopoly is looking for a Traffic Anchor/Reporter. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of on air excellence and can handle major breaking news over an extended period of time. Knowledge of Los Angeles geography and traffic is a must. Prior experience with traffic production systems is a plus. Our ideal Traffic Anchor/Reporter must be able to produce compelling traffic segments using real-time maps, live traffic cameras and live chopper video. Must also be able to produce impactful multi-platform reports on transportation issues affecting the region. In addition to on air duties you will need to be able to represent our duopoly at a variety of public and station events, sometimes involving speaking in front of large crowds. Must have at least three years on air experience in medium to large markets.
- Present traffic reports with clarity, accuracy and confidence
- Collaborate effectively with a wide range of personnel to create compelling content
- At least three years of experience on air, preferably in a top 20 market
- Appear at public and station events, as required

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- College degree required or equivalent experience
