The managing editor of MoneyWatch is responsible for overseeing CBSNews.com's personal finance content. The right candidate is a positive and transformative leader with an extensive background in personal finance reporting and a deep knowledge of how to grow a digital audience.

Day to day responsibilities include:
• Setting the strategy and direction for personal finance content
• Working with business development and sales on affiliate linking and direct sponsorship opportunities
• Cultivating a network of freelancers to write content for the vertical
• Assigning and editing stories
• Updating and maintaining evergreen content
• Writing personal finance segments as needed
• Working with the growth and engagement, business development, business intelligence and product teams to grow the MoneyWatch audience on- and off-platform
• Working with the sales team on direct sponsorship opportunities
• Using data to inform MoneyWatch vertical priorities
