Job Description

CBS News is searching for a Director for CBS Net News/CBS Sunday Morning.

Responsibilities:
• The Director will be the Chief Broadcast liaison between editorial and technical operations.
• Helps with preparation and assembly of broadcast, coordinates and shoots studio sessions, works with staff artists, editors and graphics personnel to help fine-tune the ''look'' and timing of a prerecorded program.''
• Future possibility of working on live broadcasts.
• Our Director is charged with working with the CBS Broadcast Origination Center… making certain show sections conform to FCC broadcast standards
• Assist when breaking news requires last minute changes to the program close to air time

Qualifications:
• This position requires meticulous attention to detail, along with basic back-timing and broadcast ''feed'' responsibilities.
• A thorough knowledge of broadcast operations is required, including a skilled and proven approach to virtually all technical operations
• The ability to maintain morale and enthusiasm among most of the entire broadcast editorial and technical team.
• Able to work flexible hours including late nights and weekends
• Comfortable working on prerecorded content
