About Us

CBS Entertainment is responsible for acquiring or developing and scheduling the entertainment programming presented on the CBS Television Network, which includes primetime comedy and drama series, reality-based programming, specials, children's programs, daytime dramas, game shows, talk shows and late night programs.
Overview & Responsibilities:

The Design Asset Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the collection and distribution of digital assets to/from internal and external sources including CBS News, CBS Sports, CBS Entertainment, and CBS Studios. Seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who can adjust workload based on shifting priorities and can problem solve technical delivery issues/errors. Everyday duties will include working with multiple teams and coordinating asset delivery with graphic designers, producers, creative directors, publicity, and social media teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Oversee the collection and distribution of digital assets
• Maintain design project structures in system(s) (e.g. Frame.io, Widen, etc) and facilitate user onboarding and training
• Develop and implement new processes and mechanisms that will ultimately improve team performance, creativity, communication, and collaboration
• Work with the Manager of Asset Management and Acquisitions to liaise with various photo departments regarding new photography and stock footage
• Serve as an advocate for the design team using assets and the asset management systems

Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of related experience
• Strong knowledge of Adobe CC + Libraries (PS, AI, InDesign, After Effects), Keynote, PowerPoint, and Jira/Confluence
• Experience working with digital media, including transcoding video, manipulating media in programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder, and Compressor
• Working knowledge of a digital asset management system
• Strong experience with computers including: Operating Systems (Macintosh and Windows), Browsers (Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer)
• Strong knowledge of file formats (TIF, PNG, JPEG, CR2, WMV, MOV, MP4, etc.), social formats, and video specifications such as aspect ratios, frame rates, data rates, quality, and resolution

Additional Qualifications:
• Professional experience at a creative agency, entertainment, or tech company preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable in a test-and-learn environment
• Creative problem solver with a strategic and analytical prowess
• Focused and driven to excellence at the accomplishment of all tasks
