We have an exciting opportunity for FT experienced, hands-on Newscast Directors with strong leadership skills and an aggressive style to join our winning team.

Responsibilities:
• Perform any production duties as assigned including:
• Direct assigned newscasts and productions utilizing Ross Overdrive
• Enter coding in rundowns prior to newscast airing
• Train production crew in cameras, audio, graphics, etc.
• Supervise production crew on a daily basis
• Maintain production studio and control room
• Work with producers to conceive and execute visually stimulating newscasts
• Light editing of promos or commercials as needed
• Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned, which may include website contribution

Requirements:
• Experience Directing and TDing newscasts
• Knowledge of production standards and equipment
• Working knowledge of Ross OverDrive a plus
• Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
• Typing and good spelling skills necessary
• Ability to read and write, college degree preferred
