Trainee Programme Planning & Presentation Kids

Job Description

As a trainee you support the Planning and Presentation team in an international media company. The two close-knit areas are responsible for all stages from the strategic planning of the programme to the final creation of daily schedules for our Cartoon Network and Boomerang children's channels in Central and Eastern Europe.

YOUR TASKS:
 Assist in the creation of daily broadcast schedules as well as advertising replacement data for the various regions
 Ordering and approving shortform content
 Support the team with the linear programme strategy for the Kids Channels
 Operative scheduling of movies and episodes in our planning system
 Independent competitor monitoring and analysis for linear and non-linear
 Preparation of program research data
 Independent projects in the programme area after an induction phase

YOUR PROFILE:
 Post-graduate (Media or communication related studies is of advantage)
 Interest in the medium TV
 Previous work experience is always a plus but not a must!
 Fluent in English and basic knowledge in German
 Additional knowledge of an Eastern European language is of advantage
 Good knowledge in MS office (especially Excel)
 High sense of responsibility and self-reliant, with a reliable and organized way of working
 Team worker and good communication skills
 Quick thinker and committed.
