Job Summary

In this role, you will assist the Project Manager, Director and Executive throughout the entire project phase, including design, construction and completion of large-scale venue projects. You will be responsible for document control, communications and all administrative functions to support the project team. Interact with Owners/Clients, Architects/Engineers and Subcontractors in a professional and tactful manner on a regular basis.

Responsibilities
• Attend all regularly scheduled construction progress meetings and other meetings as required.
• Maintain minutes of all relevant construction related meetings.
• Ensure the Construction Manager is implementing and maintaining its site logistics / utilization plans. Interface as necessary with adjacent and affected stakeholders.
• Assist in tracking open RFIs, Non-Conformance Logs and submittals to ensure that the design team is providing the timely information needed to advance the work in the field.
• Update and assist in maintaining CAA ICON project tracking logs.
• Review and log on-site inspection reports. Assist with assuring the highest standard of quality.
• Identify, monitor and track all owner open issues to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Assist with the review of all approved and implemented changes to work with respect to cost and schedule impact and communicate with key client representatives. Understand and assist in tracking any potential scope changes, delay claims and cost and schedule impacts associated with design changes.
• Assist in the client review of all proposed changes to work with respect to design intent, reason for the change and reconciliation with base building scope and for entitlement against the GMP set of documents and specifications.
• Review and understand all change order requests for purposes of communicating with key client representatives.
• Assist in the preparation of each monthly pay application for processing.
• Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget
• Assist with document filing and retention.
• Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)

Required Experience & Education
• 1+ years of experience in the construction or a related services industry.
• Bachelor's Degree Required (Construction, Engineering or like industry).
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Multi-tasking and the ability to problem solve and master new concepts in a short period of time.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of software (Word, Excel, Project, Teams, OneDrive, etc)
• Detail-oriented, organized in thought, process and action, as well as creative, analytical and collaborative.
